Bug Fixes:

Release 3.15 (11/17/2007)

1. Key System Importing from Schlage > Various problems fixed for SFIC A2 systems, and combinating manually pinned and cross-keyed cylinders. Solution: Re-import your latest factory system.

2. Re-Importing an updated Key System > The key number descriptions get overwritten.

3. Import from SpecWorks > Various problems fixed for importing key groups that are assigned or not assigned the bitting information (Positions).

4. Add Key Numbers and Cylinders Wizard > Angles and Sidebar are not getting copied to the cylinder/core records.

5. Add Key Numbers and Cylinders Wizard > You can't add a key with the same keyway and key number combination that already exists within the same Manufacturer's System.

6. Add Key Numbers and Cylinders Wizard > The Keyway - Manufacturer's System field only displays keyways that are immediate children of the displayed Parent Key.

7. Create System Keys Wizard > KBA Screen > The Level assignments are not following a change to the Sequence of Progression.

8. Create System Keys Wizard > Create a Two-Level System Leg within a higher level existing system > The key symbols are created as a stand alone two-level system (i.e., 01GGM instead of GGM01) > This happens if you produce the two-level leg right after the higher level leg without exiting the wizard first.

9. Create System Keys Wizard > You can't create keys with the same keyway and key number combinations that already exist within the same Manufacturer's System > Instead, this unique restriction is now limited to within the same Key System.

10. Create System Keys Wizard > Levels Screen > The Starting Symbols can be left blank.

11. Users > Departments Screen is set to invisible for user > The department records still show up in the Rooms List.

12. Users > View Only rights for Key Numbers and Key Rings > The Edit button is still turned on for the Keys on Ring for Key Ring Screen and the Serialized Keys for Key Number Screen.

13. Personnel > Double-click on a key in the Key Issuances List > Too Many Subqueries > Same error when you double-click a person on the Key Issuances List in Key Numbers.

14. Personnel > For deleted personnel, the "Inactive" flag is showing up on sub-screens when you accidentally click on certain areas on those screens.

15. Import Personnel > Missing IDs in the Export file > The ID Number is a required field > Fix: If an import occurs and the program does not see ID Numbers, the program automatically assigns sequential ID Numbers to Personnel.

16. Key Numbers > Show All Access > Problems fixed for doors not showing up that are assigned cylinder/cores, and for doors showing up that don't have cylinder/cores assigned. Solution: Perform File Maintenance.

17. Key Numbers > Key Issuances > Double-click on a person in the list > The Return and Lost Key buttons throw the error, "Operator/operand mismatch."

18. Create Rooms and Rekey Rooms Wizards > The Cylinder lookup field does not return cross-keyed cylinders that do not have change key assignments (i.e., X1X) > This field now looks up records by Cylinder/Core and not by Key Number.

19. Re-key Rooms Wizard > The Generic Cylinder is not displayed under Cylinder Type > Assign the Generic Cylinder a Manufacturer in Products.

20. Key Rings > Copy This Ring > Error: Variable 'Key_Num' or Variable 'Ring_Description is not found > Running this wizard does not update the Key Number quantities correctly.

21. Utilities > Backup/Copy Data Set > Discrepencies between the file size of the original and backup data folders.

22. Reports > Key System Listings > List of Progressions > When creating additional keys (Create System Keys Wizard) within the same Key System on a different keyway, the new keys don't show up in the report.

23. Assets > A user set to invisible for Assets can still see the assets and values on the Room Assets sub-screen > The user can also transfer the Assets.

Release 3.14 (11/04/2006)

1. Key Numbers Screen > Expanded list view > Bitting Column > When adding bittings to your key numbers while in edit mode, when you save the records the program would display, "Are you sure you want to change the bitting of this key." After clicking on the Yes button, the program would repeat this message for every new key bitting. You may also get a "Cursor cannot be modified because it contains an unsaved record" message.

2. Issue Keys Wizard > If you type text into the Comments field that contains an apostrophe or single quote character, the key is issued with an issue quantity of zero.

3. Square Footage Listing Report > When square footage is listed for rooms that have multiple door assignments, the square footage was totaling for each door record instead of each room record.

4. Key Issuance Receipt Report > The Room field was only displaying six out of ten characters.

5. Key Systems > Create System Keys > KBA Screen > The Key Bitting Array was not building properly for Falcon Restricted 6 and 7 pin systems. The KBA can now produce up to ten bitting progressions per position (chamber). This capability is controlled by the Manufacturer's System that is linked to the Key System.

6. Key Systems > Create Systems Keys > After running out a leg of a system, if that leg needed to be used again to produce additional change keys you would get, "Duplicate bittings found. Please try again."

7. If you deleted a person who had keys issued, the person was deleted but the keys remained issued. The status of these keys could not be changed. For example, if the terminated employee came back later to return his/her keys, you couldn't return the keys because the person was deleted from the database. Solution: This may modify your key audit trail! > Under the Utilities Menu select, Perform File Maintenance. This will release all keys that are issued to deleted personnel. On the Key Numbers Screen, the program automatically marks these keys as lost and they are no longer issued. If an employee who was deleted, returns one of these keys later, on the Key Numbers Screen you can find (Found button) that key to restore it. The program has now been updated to handle deleted personnel with keys. See Help Manual (v.3.14) > Issuing Keys > Deleting Personnel with Key Issuances.

8. Add Key Numbers and Cylinders Wizard > The Angles and Sidebar fields were not being copied to the cylinder records.

Release 3.13 (08/22/2006)

1. Import Screens > Load Records from Schlage or Falcon Lock Company and Load Specworks(tm) SITEMASTER Export > The Key System pull-down selection box only displays a single key system record even if there are multiple systems entered under the same Manufacturer's System.

2. Key Systems > Create System Keys > KBA Screen > Creating Key Numbers by the Blind Sequence method > If you add key numbers manually using blind sequence numbers, and then generate additional blind sequence numbers using the Create System keys wizard, the wizard repeats the numbers that were manually entered.

3. Import Schlage factory Key System > Select import option for Serialized Keys > Enter a quantity of keys to create > The first serial number for each key number is created as two instead of one.

Release version 3.12 (06/07/2006)

1. Issue Keys Wizard > You can Print a Key Receipt from the wizard screen before storing the transaction. If you accidentally click on the Cancel button the receipt was created but the transaction did not occur. Now, when you click on the Cancel button, an alert message asks you if you really want to cancel.

2. Reports > Key Numbers > Key Number Symbol Information > The Bitting field name is TMK.

Release version 3.11 (05/05/2006)

1. Rooms for Building Screen > Who Has Access (button) > If multiple doors are assigned to a room, then personnel are listed twice under the same key number record if the key works both doors.

1. Rooms for Building Screen > Who Has Access (button) > If Show Bittings is turned off on the Locksmith Setup Screen, they still show up on this report.

Release version 3.095 (04/10/2006)

1. Key Numbers and Key Issuances > Show All Access (button) > If you add and link records manually, Key Number, Cylinder, Door, and Room, the report says that the key does not grant access. After you update, go to the Utilities Menu and Perform File Maintenance.

2. Key Rings > Add/Remove Keys > If you add a new ring or select an existing, when you click on the Add/Remove Keys button the program hangs with the hour glass.

3. Rooms for Building Screen > When the Simulated Door displays NO CYLINDER or the Part Number, if you click on the Who Has Access button you get: Operator/Operand Type Mismatch.

Release version 3.092 (03/08/2006)

1. Importing from SpecWorks > In SiteMaster, the Part Number field for Products has been increased in length from thirty to fifty characters. When previously importing, if a part number (CATALOGNO) exceeded thirty characters in length, SiteMaster would create a duplicate Part Number record for every door that the part number was assigned.

Release version 3.09 (02/27/2006)

1. Loading Data from Previous Version > When loading data from older versions (i.e., v.1.3, v.2.84), into newer versions 3.07 and 3.08, there may be key quantity errors. These errors apply to key return records on the Key Issuances list on the Personnel Screen and to the Total Keys Created field on the Key Numbers Screen. On the Key Issuances List the program creates a new key return record for keys that are issued. On the Key Numbers Screen an additional key is created. From the Utilities Menu, select Perform File Maintenance if you notice these data discrepancies between versions.

5. Key Issuances > Receipt Reports > Receipt for Key Issuances > Key Number field does not display entire record.
